The day started early with stong westerly winds and plans for 4 races.

The wind became stronger as the day progressed and after the second race the sailors came ashore at about 2pm. The conditions on the water were tough for the competitors with wind speeds of 25 to 30 knots.

The wind continued through the afternoon and the RC declared an end to racing for today at 5pm.

Everyone washed the salt from their boats and packed their gear away with hopes for a little less wind tomorrow.

With a total of 7 races sailed a number of positions changed in the rankings due to the benefit of a drop race.
